Through all the mix making, there ended up being a pile of just “hits”. Songs I loved that didn’t really have a spot, so that became their spot. Starting with the Eric Donaldson’s version of “love of the common people” and going into Al Capone’s DJ version of it. There is some Johnny Clarke, Dennis Brown and Barington Levy on here and a bunch of other crooners with great voices. All off crackly 45s. What’s not to love? Runnnn chune apey ape!
