rip Sean Callahan
I know this is the l.i.v.i.n section, but what better way to celebrate a friend whose passed by how they lived. Sean lived in Chicago but grew up with a friend of mine, so whenever he would visit we did, well, only two things. Ride bikes or go to Jumbo’s Clown Room.. the worlds best “strip club” though they don’t get naked and dance to some really crazy rad and obscure songs. (I wanna be adored and Rocket Man come to mind.. as well as the goth girls many Cure dances in her homemade outfits.) Sean was always super nice, and fun and full of smiles and good times. I don’t know what lead him from there to taking his own life, but I for one will miss his visits, our trips to Jumbo’s, and bike rides to donut shops. I hope wherever he is, he is finding whatever he was having trouble finding here.
Two pictures from a bike riding day a few years ago, Sean alone and Sean with Kyle:

You learn the strangest things when people pass, like the fact that Sean was a well known rollerblader. Not that bragging about rollerblading is something people do a lot, but we are all shameless friends, and yet I’d still never heard him talk about it. He was more of the here and now type.. but I’m loving these clips..

awesome post, great vids, great guy. sorely missed
